Connect with others while exploring a curated collection of historic nature journals, courtesy of OU's History of Science Collections. Designed for teens and adults. Registration Required.
Join us as we come together to explore a collection of historic nature journals curated by the the History of Science Collections staff at the University of Oklahoma and get to know people who share a similar interest. Discover new techniques and perspectives as we meet with others to learn about their experiences while sharing your own. This will be an informal setting where attendees can peruse the collection and talk amongst themselves with the presence of knowledgeable staff.
This program is a session in our Phenology Phridays series, a weekly set of programs that give you skills you can use to start a personal nature journaling practice while also collecting scientific data for a community science campaign called Time to Restore that supports pollinator habitat restoration efforts in our area.
Please bring any materials to help support your experience and comfort.
