Join us to celebrate poetry and the winners of the Jim Spurr "Live Loud!" Poetry Contest sponsored by the Shawnee Friends of the Library.

Join us celebrate the winners of the Jim Spurr Live Loud! Poetry Contest, and to celebrate poetry!  Contest winners will be announced and the event will conclude with an opportunity for participants to read their poetry for the group. 

 

Submit your entry online :  https://forms.gle/51x2ZZHZ2ScWWqAM9  or in person at the Shawnee Public Library. 

All submissions are due by midnight, April 23rd, 2024.  Categories are: youth grades 4 & 5, 6 through 8, and 9 through 12.  

 

The contest is sponsored by the Friends of the Shawnee Public Library in memory of Jim Spurr, the Poet Laureate of Shawnee.
