Boost your child’s confidence in reading by taking it to the pets! As a friendly and open listener, a certified therapy animal makes a fantastic reading partner. Registration required.

Children will practice reading in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere at their own pace with certified therapy animals provided through the library. Reading to animals not only helps children improve their confidence and skills, but also has many social and emotional benefits as well. Participants can bring a favorite book or choose one from the library!

Registration is required. If a registrant does not show up for their scheduled time, then we will move on to the next registrant.
