How to create a good password easily, and how to use simple software to actually manage passwords safely and securely!
You know the drill - you have to have a password, and it has to be a "good" one. And you need a different one for each account you have - email, bank, doctor's office...it's all enough to make your head spin, and that's before you have to change them all every six months! How are you supposed to keep up?
In this one-hour seminar, attendees will learn just that - tried-and-true tricks for creating good, safe, easy-to-remember passwords, as well as good ways to keep track of them. Attendees will also learn what password managers are, how they work and keep you safe, and how to get started using their own.
And, after class, you can ask helpful library staff for free assistance in downloading and installing the proper software to get you started right away!
