Story Time Room

Make new friends while playing Mario Kart. Connect with and learn more about other’s experiences while sharing your own. Designed for teens 12-17. Registration suggested but not required.

Join us as we come together to hang out, snack, play video games, and get to know people who share similar interests. We know it can be hard to find the time or the people to get together and play video games in-person! That's why this is a space for teens to play their games, swap friend codes, make new friends, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment!

Please bring any materials to help support your experience and comfort. Feel free to bring your own Switch or other handheld games to play with folks when not participating in the tournament. Just want to hang out? This event doubles as a low-key, chill, handheld gaming lounge. Use library WIFI to play with new friends. Invite your friends, classmates, and siblings. The more, the merrier!

Mario Kart, Switch & controllers, and snacks will be provided. Registration is requested, as more accurate numbers allow us to purchase accurate amounts of snacks! This program is designed for teens 12-17.

Race for the chance to win a 3D printed Mario Kart trophy. All attendees will receive a door prize.
