Come learn what you can do for your garden over the winter, and exchange seeds and plants with other Oklahoma gardeners!

Come to this fun community event to learn more about gardening! Good for both beginners and more advanced green thumbs.

Local gardening experts will speak for about an hour on fall and winter gardening topics and give attendees tips to facilitate garden success.

Then we will have an optional seed and plant exchange.

Exchange guidelines:

Bring your saved or excess seeds and plants to trade if you can, especially those you had great success with this year! Please label items carefully with species name if known, plant description, and any planting instructions or other information you are aware of, as well as when they were harvested.

No exchange will take place before the speaker is done. Library staff will let attendees know when it is ok to begin; please do not start early. Please do not take more than what you need; leave some for everyone!

Bring something to share if you can, but please come even if you can't. You are welcome to attend the presentation either way. There is usually enough leftover for everyone to take something home. However, the success of the exchange does depend upon attendee donation/participation. It is also fine to bring items you have purchased if you so choose. Again, this is optional!

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested but not required.
