Dr. Yates will present a story time program on the importance of healthy eating for children in honor of Child Health Day. Designed for children of all ages and their caregivers.
Come meet our local pediatrician Dr. Yates as she presents a special story time program on the importance of healthy eating for children in honor of Child Health Day.
It will include stories that highlight healthy eating, cooking, snacks and get up and move strategies for families to help prevent obesity in children.
We will share books, tell stories, and sing songs to nurture young minds and build relationships. Family story time is for children of all ages and their caregivers to build early literacy and social skills by singing, talking, reading, playing, and learning together. After story time and bubbles, children are encouraged to explore sensory activities. Designed for children of all ages and their caregivers.
This health literacy project is funded through a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries with a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
