Senior Book Club ages 55+ at Rolling Hills Community Center, 2101 East Main St, Shawnee. Seniors who read enjoy much more than just a good story. Scientific studies have found many benefits of reading such as reducing stress, enhancing sleep to improving memory, sharpening decision-making and possibly even delaying the onset of dementia. Join our Reader's Choice Senior book club at Rolling Hills Community Center. Either bring your book, select from our large-print book selection, or get reader advisement. Light refreshments are served. Speak to presenters form Community Market, POGO, Shawnee Pioneer Public Library and Absentee Shawnee Housing Authority Community Relations.
