Join Doctor of Physical Therapy Olivia Nees as we learn about dizziness vs vertigo and how to differentiate between the two conditions. She will explain the various methods used to treat both disorders. Olivia will do an in-depth discussion about the physiology of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo or BPPV and the prevalence among certain populations. BPPV is a common condition that causes brief, intense episodes of vertigo (spinning sensations) triggered by changes in head position. Become more confident in advocating for yourself and others in this presentation by discovering accurate tools, techniques, and resources about how PTs can test and treat BPPV.

Olivia Nees has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She currently works with Physical Therapy Norman.
