Gardening is not only good for the environment but can also have tremendous benefits on your health. Join us as we learn and talk all things plants. Designed for all ages. Registration Requested.

Join us with Dr. Rahmona Thompson of the Cleveland County Master Gardener Association as we learn science-based companion planting. Topics will include inter-planting, deterrent species, trap species, and allelopathic species. Companion planting is used to manage disease and pests in the garden, improve soil, and create pollinator habitats.

Stay for a hands-on demonstration in our new community garden and help plant our new raised beds using techniques learned in today's program!

Discover new strategies and perspectives in growing a garden while also meeting fellow plant lovers. Whether you are just getting started or an expert gardener, there is something for you. Registration Requested.

This project is funded through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
