Join us to discover the poetry and power in dancing as we move naturally, gain confidence, and learn a few dance moves.
Professional dance instructor and choreographer Juan Cabral will lead this five week series to help you discover the dance within you. Cabral will teach the proper dance steps to the waltz, the tango and other classical dances but more importantly will help you gain the confidence and skills to get out on the dance floor at your next big event. Dancing is a great way to get in more natural movement (i.e. exercise) plus it helps us to downshift while spending time with others having fun. This is a great opportunity to meet some new people, have some fun, and gain some new skills on the dance floor. All skill levels are welcome and you do not have to have a partner to participate as we discover the dance within and becoming poetry of motion. Lace up your dancing shoes and join the fun.
Classes will be February 21, 28, March 7, 14, & 21. You need not attend all classes, but Registration is requested, but not required. Adults only, please.
