Part of the lead up to Crowns Tea at Norman Central on February 24, come to Norman West and enjoy a performance from Adam and Kizzie!
Without a genre-specific box to pin their music to, local musicians Adam and Kizzie are now affectionately known as The Originators of EEDO, their own non-genre genre.
They are the 3rd place winners of Usher's 2017 MEGASTAR Talent Competition out of over 7,000 contestants worldwide! Upon winning they were given the chance to meet and be mentored by Usher himself in LA. The Oklahoman couple has been featured on a number of programs including an episode on Food Network's Season 8 of Restaurant Impossible titled, "Face The Music", Season 4 of the Chevy Music Showcase documentary series, and KOKH-25's "Living Oklahoma" with Meg & Mitch. The duo can also be heard on musical projects including J.Lee The Producer's newly released album Music Box, Ohmega Watts' album Pieces of a Dream, the Support Local Heroes: Vol. 1 benefit album produced to aid victims affected in the 2013 Oklahoma tornado disaster, and more.
This is part of a 3-program event series celebrating Black History Month at our Norman Libraries:
This event is made possible by a grant from the Norman Arts Council and the Friends of the Norman Libraries.
