Children completing 2nd-6th grades will enjoy this 4 day hands on science and reading camp. Fun activities! Held at Purcell Elementary School. Begins at 9 am, ends at 11:45 am.
Join local educators and librarrians for a fun science series! Children who have completed 2nd through 6th grades are invited to enjoy this 4 morning science and reading camp. Camp will be held in the Elementary School Cafeteria, at 809 N. 9th. Children will build memories through fun and educational learning activities. Camp includes enrollment in the Summer Reading Program with time each day for children to read to meet their goal. Camp begins at 9 am and concludes at 11:45 am. Free Summer Breakfast and Summer Lunch will be available at the Elementary School for students each day through the Purcell Public School Summer Food Program. On Tuesday, Campers will walk to the Public Library to enjoy the 10:30 performance of "Build a Magical World" featuring Tommy Terrific. Campers will return to the Elementary School and dismiss as usual that day.
Parents/Guardians MUST complete a signed safety waiver and Emergency Contact Sheet, as some activities might include cutting with scissors and/or the use of simple tools.
