Prosthetic Leg Challenge – This engineering based program presents kids with the challenge that they’re in a Zombie apocalypse, and one of their friend’s legs has gotten a little munched on by a pesky zombie. They’re then given a bag of materials, and while working in teams of two, they must use only those limited materials to construct a prosthetic “leg” that can support one of their weight and be walked on.
This is a 50 minute program for Tweens and Teens ages 11-18. Space is limited and registration is required. We encourage the use of our new event tracker system, so kids bring your library cards and use it when you check in for the program.
