In partnership with the University of Oklahoma and the Tournees Film Festival, the Norman Central Library will host a screening of the French film SAINT LAURENT. The 2014 drama is a biography of fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent, focusing on Saint Laurent's "dark years" from 1967 to 1976 when he was at the peak of his career but his work and personal life was growing increasingly complex. Before the screening, there will be an informal discussion with scholars on the history of fashion moderated by Dr. Julia Abramson of the University of Oklahoma.
SAINT LAURENT is rated R, has a running time of 145 minutes, and will be screened in its original French with English subtitles.
