Chair Yoga is one of the gentlest forms of yoga available. Participants will perform postures and breathing exercises with the aid of a chair and can experience the many benefits of yoga without having to get up or down from the floor. Benefits included increased balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and stress reduction.
The Chair Yoga instructor will be Sandi Lasseter, supervisor of the Norman Senior Citizens Center.
No materials are needed from participants, the Norman Public Library Central will provide the chairs.
