Electronic music is a great way to express yourself (and make other people dance! ). Teens are invited to a week-long music camp at the Norman Library. Attendees will get to explore a new side of the library's Akai MPK Mini MKII boards; learning styles and tricks of the pros, writing music which follows a pre-set style, recording multiple tracks and setting up multi-track playing. Attendees will, among other things, undergo an exploration of popular and classic practitioners of electronic music (such as Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, and Plastikman). Any attendee must have attended the library's basic Electronic Music course before registering for this event.Registration is requested. Click the "Register" button and complete the form, register at the Computer Training Center, or call the library. Registration opens two weeks before the event.
