This mental-health focused session will explore the effects of increased screen time on the brains of children and adults. Participants will learn basic tools for improving mental health and reducing stress. Challenge activities this month will include all previous activities as well as: Reducing screen time for yourself and your child by half an hour each day; turning off phones/tablets at least one hour before bed three nights each week; practice one of the stress reducing exercises learned in this program; sharing what you have learned with a family member or friend; checking out a book to read yourself or with a child to replace screen time. Registration encouraged.
