Have you dreamed of being a musician or having a band? Exploring music? Spend an hour with a music producer who will answer questions and let you experiment and explore. You’ll be off like a rocket!
John McGaha, is a professional multi-instrumentalist, music composer, and producer with 40 years’ experience. His library program consists of a presentation and Q&A session followed by an invitation to play an instrument. He’ll bring instruments to explore—which could be a mandolin, violin, guitar, penny whistles/recorders, and one or two exotic instruments as well such as a Guzheng or an Oud. John and Leah Kenton-McGaha have performed at Big Read and PLS Foundation events, as well as programs at Tecumseh, Norman West, and Norman Central libraries. John has been described as having “a sincere love of his craft, and an understanding of music that is seldom paralleled”. –Modern Bard.
