Join us for a short walk around the library and then a presentation from Jennifer Pharr Davis, a 2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, as she shares stories and excerpts from her new book.

Jennifer Pharr Davis is a record-setting hiker, author, and speaker. She has covered more than 14,000 miles of trails, written articles for the New York Times, Outside and Backpacker magazines, and has received numerous awards including being named a 2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. 

Please join us as Jennifer leads us on a short walk near the library at 6:30 pm and then at 7 pm will share stories, slides, and excerpts from her latest book The Pursuit of Endurance, which recently came out in paperback and has been called "a captivating narrative guidebook that will inspire readers to test their own limits, on the trail and off." (Kirkus Reviews)

The walk start time: 6:30 pm

Jennifer Pharr Davis presentation start time: 7 pm

Attendees are not required to join us on the walk at 6:30 pm to attend the presentation, but all are welcome to join the walk led by Ms. Davis 30 minutes before the presentation, which will then begin at 7 pm.
