Featuring clever Jazz arrangements of some holiday classics, and original music, we welcome Mark Giammario of the “MG Quartet” to kick off our holidays! Mark directs the student Jazz ensembles, and teaches percussion at OCCC and Rose State College. He holds a Master’s of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma / Oklahoma Jazz Lab. While in New York City, Mark honed his percussion skills and performed in world class venues – now including our own Norman West Jazz Café. For the past ten years, Mark has made Norman and Oklahoma City his home. Come join us for the holidays and get down with the MG Quartet. Show starts at 2 p.m.
