Yes, you heard that right: you can make video games for your computer and play them - even at home!
Learners (ages 14-17) will use the open source Unity software to make a real, live video game, coded up with C# - and they will play their games, and those of their classmates, during the week. Learners are recommended (but not required) to have taken the Asset Development course in the week before, so that they'll have their own awesome stuff to put in their own awesome game.
This camp is for ages 14 through 17. All camps have an age requirement: if your child does not fit the age profile of this Lab, we can almost guarantee (ages 5-18) that we have one for your family - and there are activities for all ages throughout all of summer in the Norman Libraries!
These camps open for registration two weeks prior to their start date, and registration is required. You are welcome to contact Aaron Pence, the manager of the Computer Training Center, at apence@pioneerlibrarysystem.org or (405) 701-2696 with questions.
