Summer doesn't mean that competitive robotics has to end!
Students (grades 5-8) will build and program robots which will compete head to head to complete a number of complex tasks. No previous experience is required. Students will learn the fundamentals of robotic design, programming, and testing, under the guidance of a former programmer for the world champion team Norman Advanced Robotics.
This experience is for grades 5 through 8. All camps have an age requirement: if your child does not fit the age profile of this Lab, we can almost guarantee (ages 5-18) that we have one for your family - and there are activities for all ages throughout all of summer in the Norman Libraries!
Applications to Open Robotics League are closed for Summer 2019. For more details, or to hear about other STEM opportunities, please contact Aaron Pence, the manager of the Computer Training Center, at apence@pioneerlibrarysystem.org or (405) 701-2696.
