The Foxy Four, named after their mutual love for the Fox Bassoon Company and their beautiful bassoons, are all current students at the University of Oklahoma under the instruction of Professor Rodney Ackmann. Taylor Gambill is a first year Master’s student in instrumental musical performance. He attained his Bachelor’s degree in musical performance from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas which is his home town. Jared Shay is an Owasso, Oklahoma native that is in his senior year of his Bachelor’s degree in both music education and instrumental musical performance. Daniel Kavelman joins the studio from his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico and is in his junior year of his Bachelor’s degree in both letters and instrumental musical performance. Braden Geggie is another Oklahoma native from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is currently in his junior year of his Bachelor’s degree in both music education and computer science.
