Come out Norman Public Library West to hear a chamber music of string quartets and trios from musicians from all around the United States.
Based in Oklahoma City, the 40 member Oklahoma Haydn Festival Orchestra returns for an eighth season. Previous concerts have been performed in Okemah, Henrietta, Watonga, Kingfisher, Okarche, Lawton, Edmond, and Stroud. The festival rehearses and performs at Casady School in Oklahoma City. Casady concerts include an orchestra concerts on Saturday, June 8, and Saturday, June 15. Casady and Poncan Theatre concerts begin at 7pm. Raleigh Symphony Orchestra conductor Jim Waddelow, a native of Ponca City, has assembled musicians from Texas, Missouri, Colorado, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Oklahoma for the festival.
