This beginner's class will introduce you to the basic Tai Chi principles and movements including integrating the mind with the body, fluidity of movements, controlled breathing, and mental concentration. Tai Chi has several benefits, including improving balance & coordination, reducing stress and anxiety, promoting joint health, and developing and improving muscular strength. Loose, comfortable clothing enabling easy movement is recommended.
Registration is not required. Participants must sign a waiver each class, and anyone under 18 must have parent/guardian consent and signature.
