Bring your own project and your favorite comfy chair to our virtual knitting circle! This is a virtual program and registration is required.
Join us for a relaxed time of knitting and connecting virtually. All skill levels are welcome. You can bring projects you love as well projects you would like help with! A library staff member will be present to help anyone who is just beginning their first project, and if you're hunting for that first project, check out these recorded instructions for a beginners' log cabin blanket.
For beginners we recommend a few balls of size 5/bulky/chunky weight yarn and one pair of Size US 11/8mm straight knitting needles; a tapestry needle and/or scissors are optional.
In April we will featuring "plarn" (yarn made from plastic bags) in celebration of Earth Day. Gather your used plastic bags and join us for a fun upcycle edition of Knit Nights!
This program is virtual and registration with an email address is required. A confirmation email will be sent with a link to join the program via Zoom. Please make sure "donotreply@mylocallibrary.info" is on your safe sender list.
