Join us in the ultimate battle between characters from beloved video game franchises! Smash, grab and beat your way to the top in this tournament in Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo Switch!

This is an online tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch. Registration is required in order to reserve a spot on the bracket. Each participant must have their own Nintendo Switch system, a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription. The tournament will be streamed on the PLS Twitch Channel (https://www.twitch.tv/pioneerlibrarysystem) for anyone to watch. The top three finishers will all win gift cards to the Nintendo eShop; first place wins $60!

Space is limited to up to 16 participants 
The tournament will last around two hours with up to 15 sessions lasting 8 minutes 
Each participant must choose one character to use throughout the tournament; no switching between matches 
1v1, 3 stocks, 8 minutes no items and Final Destination only
Participants must adhere to any instructions given by the host and moderator during the live stream.
Depending on the number of players, some participants may be asked to take a "bye-round" in the tournament. This means that these participants would not play in a certain round of the bracket, but it would not be counted as a loss. These participants would be matched with opponents in the following round.
