Join us for an engaging community conversation and explore "how can we help create a community without poverty?" This is a virtual program and registration is required.
Join us for an engaging community conversation on poverty lead by Danné L. Johnson, founder of Our Work. We will come together to explore our understandings of poverty as well as the systems that create poverty, while addressing the overarching question of “how can I help create a community without poverty?”
These conversations are part of our PLS Reads series. This year our topic is poverty and our community-selected book is The Other Wes Moore. PLS will host a number of book discussions for The Other Wes Moore from April – October. Check out our calendar of events to learn more and register. Digital and physical copies of The Other Wes Moore are readily available- check out our PLS Connect app or visit any of our hometown branches.
This program is virtual and registration with an email address is required. A confirmation email will be sent with a link to join the program via Zoom. Please make sure "donotreply@mylocallibrary.info" is on your safe sender list.
