Have you ever wanted to make your own video games?
Students (ages 5-7) and their parents are invited to a fun week of computer programming with Scratch - a real programming language with an easy drag-and-drop interface developed by MIT. No computer programming experience is necessary, although good computer skills are recommended. Any student who is still learning to read effectively needs to be accompanied by an adult. Students (and their parents!) will learn the basic ideas of programming a computer to make video games and can even play their awesome creations at home!
Parents do not need to register seperately for this event, and can simply register as "guests" under their child's name. Please contact Aaron Pence at (405) 701-2696 or apence@pioneerlibrarysystem.org if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!
