Join Cover to Cover Book Club and guest scholar Dr. James Hung to discuss our first PLS Reads book of 2022, The Music of Bees by Eileen Garvin. This is a virtual program and registration is required.
Learn more about our environment and protecting pollinators through a scholar-led discussion of The Music of Bees by Eileen Garvin facilitated by Dr. James Hung. Dr. Hung is a Heritage Biologist and Assistant Professor of Biology at OU and works with native pollinators at the Oklahoma Biological Survey. He also runs a Pollinator Ecology lab at the University. Eileen Garvin will also be joining the conversation virtually! This is a hybrid program and registration is required to attend virtually.
Book discussions will be held throughout the spring leading up to the author's visit during our Spark a Change conversations that will be featured during Earth Day celebrations in each county as detailed below. Each author presentation will be followed by expert led, hands-on pollinator-related activities and accompanied by other Earth Day activities!
