This workshop will give business owners an opportunity to get information about applicable laws, ask questions of an expert panel and provide feedback in a neutral environment.

Wages, taxes, accommodations, safety...owning or running a business requires a host of tasks, including ways to comply with federal and state employment laws. When employees are treated in a way that is consistent wtih the law, workers are protected and employers compete on a level playing field. Most employers want to comply with the law, but often have questions about how to meet those responsibilities. The Employment Law workshop will provide an opportunity for employers to get information about applicable laws, ask questions of an expert panel and provide feedback in a neutral environment. A number of state and federal agencies will be on site to help, along with several employer services organizations. Take advantage of this free training and get the information and resources you need to avoid violations. Registration is required.
