Learn to Earn

Job Skills Teen Summer Series

Four-week series will provide fun and engaging opportunities to learn and gain skills to land a great job.

This four-week series for ages 16 to 24 years old, will provide fun and engaging opportunities to learn and gain skills to land a great job.  You will learn about writing an effective resume, learn skills to do your best during your job interviews, and learn how to succeed at landing a great job.  Local business community members will provide insider insights and lead discussion of what helps applicants stand out in the crowd of job seekers.  During each session, Skills class participants will enjoy interesting activities and gain insight into their unique talents and abilities.  Sponsoring partners will provide lunch for participants at the conclusion of each class.

The series will conclude with a great celebration on Thursday night, June 28th.  Sponsorship for the program is provided by the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce, The Shawnee Public Library, and Workforce Oklahoma Youth Services.
