What better way to have fun - and avoid the Summer Slump - than with the Computer Training Center's Learning Labs!
These hands-on activities give children experience with real-world scientific and artistic concepts, as well as using technology to bring that experience into the twenty-first century.
This week, we'll be learning about writing. The ancient art of writing is a pursuit quientessential to the human condition, and it's time you got to experience its wonder! Learners will create beautiful calligraphy, will make lovely letters on the computer, write to a family member, and more!
This Learning Lab is for ages 8 through 10. All Learning Labs have an age requirement: if your child does not fit the age profile of this Lab, we can almost guarantee (ages 5-18) that we have one for your family - and there are activities for all ages throughout all of summer in the Norman Libraries!
These Learning Labs open for registration two weeks prior to their start date, and registration is required. You are welcome to contact Aaron Pence, the manager of the Computer Training Center, at apence@pioneerlibrarysystem.org or (405) 701-2696 with questions.
