Join us as we partner with local fitness experts to focus on improving our health. Become more confident in advocating for yourself and others by discovering accurate tools, techniques, and resources in this hands-on experience. This half day health fair offers a personal nutrition session led by registered dietician Andrea Beck that focuses on nutrition, a group fitness session hosted by a personal trainer, a presentation from a local bicycle shop, Spokelahoma, on the health benefits of cycling, and a healthy grilling demo that focuses on vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins. Registration is required. This project is funded through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries with a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
