Join the SOKC Library for a thought-provoking look at A leak in the heart by Faye Moskowitz with discussion leader Dr. Harbour Winn. A leak in the heart is a collection of twenty-four autobiographical story-essays about growing up in unassimilated Orthodox Jewish family in small-town Michigan during the 1930s and '40s.
Dr. Winn earned a PhD in English from the University of Oregon and completed all the course work at OCU for an AMS EC Credential. He teaches Psychological Bases of Learning in Childhood and has taught a language course in the past. He also presents during the spring seminar on Multiple Intelligences. He taught in a Montessori EC classroom, for 10 years and 7 years in a Montessori-oriented, self-contained third grade classroom.
