Attend 11 sessions, twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, to practice the art of Tai Chi, often used to improve balance, manage stress, and help a variety of other health conditions. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that today is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements preformed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels. Classes begin WEDNESDAY 9/5. No class on Labor Day. Instructor is certified by the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative.
