In this introduction to machine sewing, we will build confidence in your sewing skills. This class is designed for absolute beginner teen and adult participants. Registration required.
Strengthen your sewing skills and start your journey to becoming a master stitcher! This program will cover machine sewing basics, pinning, and basic top-stitching through hands-on exploration in a supportive learning environment.
We will be making microwavable bowl cozies. All materials will be provided, but we will have limited fabric print options. If you would like to use your own fabric, bring two 10" square pieces of 100% cotton fabric (quilting cotton suggested). We suggest purchasing two "fat quarters" from a local retailer. If you're unsure about cutting them to size, simply bring the two fat quarters with you to the program. We'll help you cut them!
It is recommended that you come with a basic understanding of sewing machines, but no prior experience is necessary for this program.
Registration required.
