The American Sign Language Class will be taught at Gordon Cooper Technology Center on February 1, 8, 15 & 22nd from 6-7 p.m.
The Pioneer Library System works with community partners such as Gordon Cooper Technology Center to create opportunities for the Shawnee community to enhance the quality of life for our customers and adapt to changing needs. We are excited to offer the following opportunity in conjunction with Gordon Cooper Technology Center for our community to learn and grow. The Introduction to American Sign Language is designed to initiate participants to American Sign Language. Students will be taught beginning sign language and culture of the American-Deaf community. The course will meet February 1, 8, 15 & 22nd from 6-7 p.m. All classes will be held at Gordon Technology Center.
