The focus of this class is to introduce basic Tai Chi movements. Classes will be led by certified instructor Chock Petchprom and loose, comfortable clothing enabling easy movement is recommended.
The focus of this beginner's class is to introduce individuals to basic Tai Chi movements. The essential principles of Tai Chi include mind integrated with the body, fluidity of movements, control of breathing and mental concentration. Tai Chi has several benefits, including improving balance & coordination, reducing stress and anxiety, promoting joint health, and developing and improving muscular strength. These classes will be led by Chock Petchprom, a certified Tai Chi instructor and loose, comfortable clothing enabling easy movement is recommended.
Registration is not required. Participants must sign a waiver each class, and anyone under 18 must have parent/guardian consent and signature.
