The focus of this intermediate class is to empower individuals to improve their health and wellness through the gentle art of Tai Chi.
The focus of this intermediate class is to empower individuals to improve their health and wellness through the gentle art of Tai Chi. This intermediate class introduces the essential principles of Tai Chi include mind integrated with the body, fluidity of the movements, control of breathing and mental concentration. Tai Chi has several benefits, including improving balance & coordination, reducing stress and anxiety, promoting joint health, and developing and improving muscular strength. These classes will be led by Chock Petchprom, a certified Tai Chi instructor. Loose, comfortable clothing enabling easy movement is recommended.
Registration is not required.
Participants must sign a waiver each class, and anyone under 18 must have parent/guardian consent and signature.
