Come attend 12 sessions, twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, to learn about the art of Tai Chi often used to improve balance, manage stress and a help a variety of other health conditions. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that today is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels. Classes begin on WEDNESDAY 5/10. No Class on Memorial Day 5/29. Instructor certified by the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative. Students must attend the first two classes to participate in all 12 sessions and sign a waiver and release form.
