In celebration of LGBT Pride Month, the Norman Public Library will host a special book club discussion of teen fiction novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda . With a Sequoyah Book Award nomination and a film adaptation in pre-production, Simon is the story of sixteen-year-old, not-so-openly-gay span Simon Spier, who is blackmailed into playing wingman for his classmate or else his sexual identity--and that of his pen pal--will be revealed. Copies of the Pride Month book discussion title will be available in May 2017 and may be obtained at the Norman Library Information Services desk. For more information, please contact the Norman Library at 405.701.2620.
