Come meet Oklahoma Cowboy Jim Garling for a singing Cowboy and Western program. For the SRP theme "Build a Better World", he will talk about how the cowboy changed his tools of the trade over the years to make his life better. He will talk about yodeling, roping, spurs, cowboy hats, wild rags, famous cowboy singers......well you get the idea. Oh, and we well be singing together for sure. With a guitar strap on his shoulder, a pick in hand and a bushy mustache with a genuine smile, he'll bring you cowboy-era music as he strums his guitar. Boots tapping, hands clapping, and grins grow as he begins to play. Jim has recorded three CDs. This program is geared toward children and their care givers.
