Children if you enjoy Chopped Jr. for kids and love to cook then sign up. All supplies provided. Registration required and parents will need to sign a waiver on the day of the event. 3rd-5th grade.
Join us for a fun children's cooking program. Children if you enjoy watching Chopped Jr. for kids and love to cook then sign up. All supplies provided. The grand prize is a special embroidered apron. There will be 4 teams consisting of 4 children that will compete in the appetizer around. Two from each team of four will be eliminated by our panel of judges. The next round will have two members left from each team competing in the entrée round. One member from each team will be eliminated. The finale will have one member left, from each team competing in the dessert round. This program will last at least an hour and half and may run a little longer. All rounds are judged. The children should have prior cooking experience. Registration is required and parents will need to sign a waiver on the day of the event. Children must be in 3rd through 5th grade. The Healthy Literacy Grant is funded by the Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Service (IMLS).
