Build your English language skills by connecting with others in a safe and supportive environment. Designed for adults at around an intermediate level. Registration requested.
Join us to practice your English language skills in partnership with the University of Oklahoma. Participants will build conversation skills for everyday life, job searching, school, and the workplace. This program is designed for conversations with adults at a upper beginner or intermediate level.
Monday and Friday will cover the same lesson, but you are welcome to attend both sessions if you want extra practice. Each session will be split in half, with the first half focusing on a structured, themed lesson and the second half focusing on free conversation practice. Participants can attend the entire session or focus on the half that best meets their needs. Each lesson will be self-contained, so you do not have to attend consistently to participate fully.
Children are welcome to join their caregiver, and coloring sheets will be set out for them to play with during the program. Registration requested to ensure we have enough materials on hand, but please feel free to join us when your schedule allows whether you've registered or not.
The class will not meet on February 19 for President's Day and March 18 and 22 for Spring Break.
