The Super Sonic Shorties are an eight-piece all-female super-group made up of some of the most successful musicians on the planet. Led by Nikki Glaspie, Beyonce’s former drummer for 6 years, the band is a who’s who of Grammy-winning musicians that are the supporting cast of titan pop stars, either currently or previously performing/touring with artists like Beyonce, Kanye West, Lizzo, Silk Sonic, Jay-Z, Bruno Mars, The Rolling Stones, Alicia Keys, The Jacksons, Common, Anderson .Paak, Kehlani, Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, CeeLo Green, Destiny’s Child, George Michael, Dave Matthews, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock, and many others. The Pioneer Library System proudly presents four members of this super group, and invite patrons to their free concert tomorrow (September 11th) in Catlett Music Center's Band Room, room 116, at 8pm. The event co-sponsored by the OU Women and Gender Studies and the Women's Resource Center of Norman; donations to the Women's Resource Center to support women in need in Norman are sincerely appreciated.
