Calling all kid scientists! This Science Monday is all about Bees. Real life bee keeper, Dr. Kim, will teach young learners about the importance of pollination and what we can do to save the bees.
This program for elementary ages Kindergarten through Second Grade is about the wonders of science. Children will engage in active, hands-on learning about the physical and natural world.
Apiarist, Dr. Yoon Sik Kim, Ph. D., will be our guest speaker. Dr. Kim is an English professor, author, and owner of Dr. Kim's Honey Farm, LLC. He is a highly sought-out beekeeping expert and has often been featured on local television. Dr. Kim's Honey Farm is dedicated to bee-research, rescue, local honey & pollen production, and nature conservancy. He will be teaching about the importance of pollination, discussing what we can do to keep bees from extinction, and providing visual learning aids for children to investigate.
